Pre-season Walton Aquatic Pool passes are now on sale at the Franklin P. Norman Community Center. Passes can be purchased at the Community Center during normal business hours, Monday thru Sunday from May 10-20th. All passholders need to be present for Photo Id’s. Date & times are subject to change please call for more information the Parks and Recreation department at (417)-448-2740.  Season and general admission pricing.

 

The City will transition to a once a month water and sewer billing cycle effective April 2012.  An informational letter has been mailed to all customers.  It is our hope this will eliminate some confusion due to the previous four billing cycles and due dates.

All meters will be read during the first 10 business days of the month.  Bills will mail out the third week of the month and be due the third Monday of the following month.  City staff will be happy to discuss how your specific bill will be impacted.  Please contact Utility Billing at 417-448-2700.

 

The City of Nevada Police Department has partnered with the Missouri Police Chiefs Charitable Foundation and “Test My Teen” to provide parents  testing kits for detecting drugs at no charge (limit one per family, only shipping fees apply) using electronic vouchers provided by TestMyTeen.com.  Paper vouchers can  be picked up at the Nevada Police Department, 120 South Ash, Nevada Missouri. The vouchers protect the anonymity of parents who redeem them online. Ordering is done online and shipping is done using non-descript packaging to protect privacy.  Please call 448-5100 for more information.
